This past saturday Nov. 28th a friend of mine walked up to the "B" on hill. As he crossed the trail heading cross coutry he noticed movement off to his right....several coyotes were parallel his track to the "B". What did he do? He ran at them and they ran off...disapppeared. This aoccurred near MM 5.5.

"To the BAT poles Robin", Well not quite! But a new addition at the Equestrian Dr trailhead MP 3. An Eagle project has installed two BAT poles near the trailhead. Maybe some where else also! Hope some bats find them.

Hi, I am a frequent visitor to LV and occasionally bike while there. In July 2009, I tried to bike the RMT. I started at Lake las Vegas and rode to the RR casino. Some hikers there told me that the Trail will eventually extend into Boulder City where it will connect with the Lake Mead side. Sounds like maybe 30 miles are complete with another 4-5 to go? Can anyone provide me with information on whether any additional sections have been completed, and when the entire loop might be completed? I will be visiting in December and probably will bike on the trail at that time. Thanks a ton!
